re: Nick Sabans first year at LSU - DocSavage
No problem. But if they play like shite then like the good fan I am I'm going to want to talk about it.
Me too. Its just the melting and the fire O now that gets to me. That stuff gets in the players heads and affects how they respond to adversity....

Don"t get me wrong. I am worried about the state of the program. O may be in over his head, but I am willing to let his record build a case instead of bitching and ranting after 1 bad loss....

re: Nick Sabans first year at LSU - DocSavage
Saban came from Michigan State with a .585 win pct. Certainly not as awful as O's stint at Ole Miss with a .286 win pct. but Saban wasn't what he is now. In fact many of you were melting back then when we hired him. Saban left LSU with a .750 win pct. In 5 years he had a 1 loss season only one ti...

re: Bad accident at Endymion - Truck drives into crowd, dozens injured - DocSavage
You are right most commentary has been about the French quarter but there was a dump truck blocking traffic from crossing Carrollton on Orleans going toward City Park but the crowd between Orleans and Canal were exposed to traffic. That's all I meant to say....

re: Bad accident at Endymion - Truck drives into crowd, dozens injured - DocSavage
Just got back out of the chaos. The truck went just behind me and my family as it grazed a black suv on the right then he hit the accelerator hard. He jumped forward and hit the white sedan as he attempted to go around It to the left. This was just into the Orleans intersection. The sedan went to...

re: Maybe the ancient Japanese art of Haiku will cheer up the Bears ? - DocSavage
"Success is Counted Sweetest" is a lyric poem by Emily Dickinson written in 1859 and published anonymously in 1864. The poem uses the images of a victorious army and one dying warrior to suggest that only he who has suffered defeat can understand success. Success is counted sweetest By tho...

re: Ohio woman gets herself 300 day contempt of court sentence - DocSavage
"What we have here is a failure to communicate." Our country is so screwed if there are any that think she should not stay in jail untill her attitude changes. All she has to do is submit to the law. She does'nt even have to apologize. She just has to agree to do what the court says and acce...

:pimp: I ask because her name isn't listed anywhere. I saw comments under the video on YouTube where people said no one knew who she was and I thought maybe the OT stalkers could come up with it. ...

re: Name one non-religious reason to care if someone else is homosexual? - DocSavage
Making homosexuality a norm creates a false identification with homosexuality by individuals who are in fact not homosexual but are submissive, shy, effeminate or socially awkward. Be careful in today's society and don't let your child get labelled. Once that happens he or she is gay whether they ...
