Exactly. That was some bizarre overreaching.
Looked similar to a CNN special on climate change.

Go find the audio. Post-apocalyptic type shite

Think there is an interview with the person responsible for crafting the message

I’m talking about it being 100 mph winds. It wasn’t unheard of, and didn’t knock buildings over like the fear-porn warning said it would

This was one of the things that struck me early. I went into uptown with some police before the city was “open” and there wasn’t a leaf on a tree there. That and the eyes-wide-shut type total emptiness less the national guard troop every few blocks. It was bizarre

The NWS/SPC outlooks for April 27, 2011 rival that wording. The difference is that just about everything they said could happen did happen that day.

Yikes

ETA I just approved a loan to purchase a commercial building for a buddy in Houma. I ordered the appraisal a few days ago. I’m concerned that that the appraisal might not come in high enough.

My grandchildren have come north and joined me up here in Brookhaven. I know that we are a day or two away…but they are here and I’m sure that we are fine. I’m much more concerned about my friends and relatives in Baton Rouge.

I hope that all you get through this with minimal or no damage. We all know the alternative.

Good luck.
