The one saving grace is there's no "M" on the track.

Nhc is predicting 110 mph, 111 gives you an “M”. It doesn’t make a fricking difference, they’re just being conservative this far out.

Seems a bit more west at landfall but slightly more east on its travel through La.

Shifted slightly west at landfall, but it's slight more east further inland.

So far in this thread, has anyone referenced the effects of Ida to next seasons crawfish prices?

Don’t have kids yet? The milk cart starts rolling way before the horse gets there. Surprised me too.

I live in Cut Off and we got hammered pretty bad by Zeta. The eye went right over my house.

I am from and live in the 70345 too.

Zeta did a number on some trees in my yard and some shingles on my roof. One tree that almost fell during Zeta, I cut down earlier this year was a pecan tree that nearly came up rooted.

Other that we were good. I did not stay for the storm in South Lafourche as I was working that day in Houma.

A poster several pages back wished for the storm to come his way because he had a water oak that needed to come down, I could say the same about my oak that I have, but my house is right underneath it, so keep anything 3 or higher away from south Lafourche.

It’s taking 6 plus longer hours to hit the coast

I'm in Metairie and I have a whole-home generator on an ATS. Milk is my hangover medicine. Maybe we can work something out?

New track splits the uprights between Dulac and Chauvin and just about goes right up the runway at the Houma airport from south to north.
