I understand and agree. I really meant that I don’t think he would have considered himself a trans or a girl at least before the abuse, and looking at a former slave teenage boy being castrated and forced to be a stand in for the murdered wife by a crazy emperor should not be seen as this boy living the life voluntarily by anyone including even by leftists/Dems.
Although as I just mentioned in another reply the forced transitioning of vulnerable kids by the left is just as bad, and the left doesn’t seem bothered by this. They likely will view any historical victim as proof that they are correct to support and do this to kids.

Definitely not. It wasn’t a common practice, but the practice of castrating young boys to try to keep their young looks was a practice. puer delicatus. It’s speculated that both Augustus and Tiberius had boys around that they did the same thing to

And I'm pretty sure it wasn't by choice, Nero had the boy transitioned due to his similarity to Nero's dead wife.
