I’m glad the videoer was so worried about that dude that he put his fricking phone away and actually tried to help him.

Oh wait. Nevermind. He just ran on the side of the truck making sure to film the guy center-camera for three blocks so his social media would be fiya.

fricking idiots. All of them.

That's a real drag,man.

There should be protests if this driver gets fired.

that driver is likely to be losing his job and potentially his freedom with the way everyone is catering to this whole “protest” agenda. Involuntary manslaughter incoming.

I will gladly help pay for his defense counsel.

Try and internet search of "Reginald Denny" and get back to me. Any trucker who has any knowledge of that incident sure as hell isn't gonna wait around to see what the "peaceful protesters" have in mind.

IMHO, anyone who dies during the commission of a crime is NOT a victim.

It's sad that the guy lost his life, but what is even sadder is that there are so many people who are being raised to believe that it's OK to loot and steal on the flimsy pretense that some guy they didn't know got killed by a cop.

You can't stop. You have to keep moving. The worst thing you can do is stop.

Absolutely unfathomable that anyone would be dumb enough to get themselves in that position. Literally not anyone else to blame.

Man killed after being dragged by FedEx truck following night of protests in downtown St. Louis

quote:

Bystander Jared Arms captured video of the incident. Protesters had blocked off the street with their cars and were seen setting something in the road on fire when the FedEx truck approached. The video captured protesters banging and climbing onto the FedEx truck.

A man, who was seen standing between the truck's two trailers, was dragged by the semi truck just moments later.

News 4 is working to confirm if packages were stolen from the FedEx truck.

That’s the thing protestors have yet to figure out.

No one is gonna convict a driver for being in fear of a mob of people.

And people will never win against a vehicle

I know I could not vote to convict. Even vehicles passing through their stupid barricades across streets and highways. This is not peaceful protest. Even taking a knee however distasteful was at least peaceful and provoked talks. A bunch of thugs rioting, looting, and Threats of more violence just provokes more violence and fear of violence. It would be reasonable to fear stopping and reasonable to get out of area to get out of danger. The mob of thugs is threat to ones safety and are putting themselves in situation.

Seeing more people that had sympathy at first rolling their eyes with the there they go again with the violence and looting and victimhood - no self control just like the police officer they are angry at.

I always have empathy for sudden tragic death. I have a video from right before this where his leg is trapped under the tire but the truck isn’t moving. He’s screaming for help, but the ppl around him are too focused on taking packages off the truck to help him. That’s heartbreaking to me.

Not surprising based on the videos I've seen.

I am quite confident I will never be dragged to my death by a fedex truck. You wanna know why I’m so confident? Because I’m not going to attempt to loot a fricking fedex truck.

This is akin to white people who get eaten by tigers and claim it’s a tragedy. It’s not a fricking tragedy and neither is being dragged by a fedex truck. It was the position you put yourself in.

The only victim here is that poor driver. At the very least, he has to deal with the death of the dummy, or worst, could lose his livelihood/freedom.
