I didn’t think I would get anything but I am. You should check. There is a sliding scale.

I’m getting 1600 for my wife and two kids and I’m arming myself to the teeth. I want a Win Mag, a 12 gauge and a Nina.

I had a kid in 2019, but haven't filed my taxes yet. I wonder if there's a way to get that credit?

My wife and I were talking about this last night. Her ex-husband claimed their daughter last year on 2018 taxes while we are to claim her this year. with the extension of tax filing, unless we file soon or already have (we owe more money so I was holding) would we be able to get the 500 for the daughter?

If you haven’t filed 2019 then it’s based on 2018

I am getting a check but if they used the same scale next year then I definitely would not receive a check.

Whoever claims her for 2020 will ultimately get the $500 regardless of who gets the check now.
