certainly they would put a cut off on when you need to file by to claim a child though. Or I would think. Considering you can file until july 15th now

You are likely getting a $400 stimulus payment.

Your income was too high to receive the full stimulus payment.

Wait, the number of children per $500 isn't capped?? So if you have 8 kids you get an extra $4000?

What if one parent claimed a child in 2018 and hasn't filed taxes for 2019 but that same child is claimed on the other parents 2019 taxes and they have already filed? Is that 2x the amount getting paid out for a single child?

We claimed one dependent, so I guess there is a phase out for everything.

Your income was likely too high to receive any stimulus payment.

I make over $75000, but the wife makes only $50,000. This we both get $1200.
