Wait, the number of children per $500 isn't capped?? So if you have 8 kids you get an extra $4000?

What if one parent claimed a child in 2018 and hasn't filed taxes for 2019 but that same child is claimed on the other parents 2019 taxes and they have already filed? Is that 2x the amount getting paid out for a single child?

We claimed one dependent, so I guess there is a phase out for everything.
