That family seems very well adjusted. They have a love for the zoo that Steve was a part of and seem to be spending their lives there, loving the animals they come across. Sounds really nice to me.

I was at that zoo a couple of years ago the week of Steve Irwin day. Family was there and made themselves available to the visitors. Very nice place, but different from what the US would consider a zoo. Its very open and with not a lot of containments.
It was actually his family zoo that was stayed by his parents and had expanded over the years.

I echo this. She watches too many Hallmark movies where the guy is always so perfect ( in a woman's eye) that regular, everyday guys she'd meet in reality would probably just repulse her.
