Without alcohol, passive aggressive types might never get laid.

Dude went broke paying for his son’s medical treatment, who ultimately died of leukemia in like 2001. 20+ years of drinking himself to death.

A very slow suicide.

That’s sad and devastating. Hopefully Steve finds some peace soon.

I've seen countless live music shows in my lifetime. Smashmouth was the only one that was OBVIOUSLY lip syncing. Lost a lot of respect for them that night.

I am a 90's guy and I never cared for Smash Mouth or any of those "Ska" bands. Reel Big Fish, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, etc. Hated all of it (except Sublime - they were decent).

My love for those bands comes heavily from the nostalgic feeling of playing Tony hawk on n64.

RIP. Liver failure is a difficult death to watch. While the majority is self induced through years of drinking, people should stop and evaluate their own consumption.. people don’t realize that only 15 percent of people who technically drink to much ever suffer from cirrhosis and potential liver issues and failure. People are getting sicker earlier as consumption ramps up across the country.. getting drunk 3-4 days a week can lead to issues and only regular bloodwork will let you know that it’s time to reevaluate your own drinking habits.

It's horrible.

Had a buddy who basically drank himself to death and saw him two days before he passed and it was shocking and a wake up call about the effects of drinking.

And he was denied a liver transplant due to his history of substance abuse
