Using Uber and Lyft isn't always a convenient option. Case in point, I go have 2-3 beers after work with coworkers. So I should Uber home, leave my truck and Uber back really early the next morning when I'm in no way impaired? No thanks. I'm 6'3" 225 lbs. My body laughs at 3 beers.

I absolutely use it when the wife and I go out on date night and plan on drinking more than 2-3

if states want to reduce drinking and increase revenue without putting their citizens in jail, there is a simple solution, do what Colorado did- legalize weed.

Cell phones are probably more dangerous because I see dipshits every day driving and looking at one.

But it would make too much sense to go after them (the most prevalent driving offenders) than a DUI.

I am not saying drinking and driving is ok (its not) but if they want to increase revenue they should go after the people causing the most accidents. Texting and driving.

It doesn't matter. .05 would be less impaired than .08 and I don't want the people who my loved ones meet on the road to be impaired at all.

This isn't that hard. Drink at home, or get a ride.

As far as my pastor, he can come to my house right now, have a beer, a nice old fashioned, or a shot of tequila. If he does, I'm sure he'll be responsible enough to not put other people at additional risk getting home.

Now you are seeing the point. This is to decrease sales, thus decreasing the amount of drunken drivers on the road, thus decreasing the traffic fatalities attributed to drunken drivers.
