i10 doesn't have a random single eastbound lane either! What a crock of shite.
There must be a hurricane coming because the traffic in the two lanes headed east appears to actually be heading West.

Nothing that my drone detector on the dash of my F250 King Ranch can't outmaneuver.

I got popped in WBR one time by a speed trap disguised as a surveying crew.

Over the past year, I have been more mindful of the speed limits and laws, albeit sort of resentful. But given the technology and laws lately, I find it best to just do what the rules dictate.
I will confess that when there's three lanes of traffic, all doing 78 mph, and a cop car in the middle of it, I will pretty much follow the herd to keep from getting run over.

if you do the time and distance math v. the cost of a ticket it really isn't worth it, I'll do up to limit plus nine, except on 190 between Opelusas and Baton Rouge
ETA: and anywhere near Washington on I-49

The LSP UAS program is specifically for C-UAS program management and other specialized enforcement programs.
They are not mature enough or allowed to use drones to enforce traffic citations. Drones are used in SWAT operations, special events like super bowl and concerts, and other one off events.

I know that’s Ai because the air quality in Louisiana isn’t that clear.

If a politician was smart they would use this technology to ticket big rigs clogging up the passing lanes. Generate a lot of revenue from outside the state on a problem people actually care about.

They have hash marks on the highway. They calculate your speed using time and distance. The ground unit is right up the road waiting. They radio your info to the ground. The trooper stops the vehicle driving and tickets the driver.
Try fighting it. They have you on video.
