Because you can't control the variables.
But a Vet will be judged off their reviews.
I live teachers, but it seems 50% of all girls are in college the first year to be a teacher. There is no need to recruit with money.

The education system is supposed to be an investment in our country. A good education system creates better employees and entrepreneurs that increase productivity and taxable revenue.

^ truth. All the girls I know that got education degrees either
1) partied way too hard and switched majors
2) were dumb as rocks
3) thought they loved kids until they got thrown in a room with 25 of them at once.
Its like the Construction Management of the Human Health and Services college. I would know. I'm in CM

And the same teaching strategies to teach kids who learn in different ways. This retards kids who have the potential to be all-stars in certain areas

I hope you never have to determine people's salaries. You're an idiot.

You're probably correct. I have a friend who has been with Shell for over a decade, her first job out of college. She's a CPA and bringing in about this much In Houston. She started our working in NOLA then to London. Not bad for a 34 year old gal with a degree from LSU.

You mean like us regular employees out in the real world?? You don't generate profits for your employer, you should not be there for very long.

Yep, it does seem to be a second or third choice for many. Sadly, that may be a contributing factor to the overall poor quality of public education in large parts of our country.

The impossibility of a central planner assigning value to goods and services is exactly why the free market is so necessary.

What's off with them and what's your numbers for the list?

This is an over simplistic way of looking at things.
really? how so?
i didn't go through the list individually, but I'm willing to bet the ones that of the positions listed, the more $ that position generates directly, the more $ that person gets paid.
They charge me money to see an NFL game. Lots of people spend that money to watch. So it generates a ton of money.
They charge money for NeuroSurgery. But there are no voluntary customers. Only people that need brain surgery get it. That limits the amount of money coming in.
That's why the QB makes more than the Surgeon.
Colleges charge money per student. Elementary doesn't (yes they take in taxes, but so do public colleges). So the college professor makes more.
Starbucks charges me money on the spot for the coffee. No money, no coffee.
The schools my kids attend do not charge me any money for them to attend classes.
So the Starbucks gal probably makes more per year than an elementary teacher (i'm guessing, didn't look it up).
it's how the world works.
the more money your employer makes because of your position, the more money you typically get paid.
