It’s still a better product by a mile than anything else on the market.

Subscription creep is basically the model for all of these services

Just got another notice of price increases.

Gone from $125 to $140 to $143 in a year. There is no lower tier for me to switch to.

I thought about going with Starlink but it's up nearly to what my cable is now, so probably not unless something comes along to change the deal.

Its just internet, right? No streaming bundles? That expensive, but a lot of people dont have a better option.

$143/mth for internet is crazy. AT&T Fiber 1 gig, $50 a month. I’d check out Comcast Fiber if I were you.

Trump needs to pardon Elon now.

Won’t matter.

They will just find some state charges and keep him busy in several different state courts.

Starlink Price Raises

You have the option of no longer using that service that didn’t even exist not long ago. Lots of companies start with low pricing that is not sustainable long term to grow their customers. Uber is an example that immediately comes to mind.

You do not have a right to whatever you want at whatever price you want to pay.

Don’t worry, once the Dems confiscate Starlink and Space X the price will drop and be affordable again. And with improved service.

How much money did he squander in politics this year?

They need to pull the “Rural Development Fee” or whatever it’s called from the other ISP providers and give that money to Starlink. Give everyone out in the sticks a Starlink dish and call it good. I am tired of the government charging me fees to run a cable 60 miles out in the sticks to service some farm.

Starlink's target market isn't areas where there are cheap choices. Their main market is areas where it's hard to get broadband. When you live in a place where your choices are weak cellphone wifi, no Internet, and Starlink, a lot of people are going to pay extra for Starlink.

And always has been since the invention of subscription services or anything else that you purchase.

I used to pay 180 a month for fricking hughes net and less than dial up speed and that was 20 years ago. Cry me a river.

I have the only residential plan offered in my area due to “congestion”. Which is funny because there is very little anybody around here

This was the only option in the mountain until recently comcast ran fiber. Hate comcast but like money more.

I can get 5 years locked in at $50 for a gig apparently and 1 year free cell.

Starlink is my only option that works. I tried AT&T WiFi and it was horrible. So I will keep paying for starlink until something else comes along. Hopefully fiber makes it to my road soon

1000% this. Huge for rural areas. They have them by the balls. There is not legit competition.
