It’s a tough situation. On one hand selective censorship shouldn’t be something anyone wants, but on the other hand you have highly powerful people like Joe Rogan spreading just straight misinformation at times and susceptible audiences (takes a look around) will eat it up because they don’t know any better.
Please don’t tell me that you honestly believe that Mainstream Media is telling it to you straight?
If so, you are much dumber than your post makes you out to be.

It is downright un-American. No ifs, ands, or buts.
Yet here you go:

Tell me specifically what misinformation Rogan is spreading as fact.

That post comes off as cowardly.
You say it’s a tough situation, but then you assert that Rogan is being mendacious, and it’s anything but a tough situation.
Further, you say that people, especially younger people, aren’t smart enough to make up their own minds. And they should be protected from bad thoughts.
That’s second argument is truly odious. And deserves contempt.

Man, if they start editing content I might have to subscribe to Spotify Premium just so I can drop it.
Or if the CEO tells these staffers to get fricked, I might have to subscribe to Spotify Premium.

He can’t. Hence, the silence.

For Spotify, the decision to offer some concessions may have only emboldened demands for wide-scale editorial oversight.
Management's mistake, never negotiate with terrorists. Fire everyone making demands/threatening to strike.

And, we can’t have that.

How is Pardon My Take and half of the comedy specials that are on there still available if JRE is under fire?

I'm not an expert or anything but that sounds like the very definition of *privilege*

That’s the thing. These little frickers think they’re entitled to the job and to strike over feelings. Until some companies start laying the hammer down they will grow ever bolder.

listening to the recent episode with Douglas Murray is so much more entertaining when you can imagine these Spotify losers shitting literally shaking with every word

Hmmmm, who is more easily replaced? Some whiny blue haired SJWs out of indoctrination school, or the man with a long career in hosting, a contract, and, I don’t know, THE BIGGEST PODCAST ON THE PLANET?
No shite? You mean bending the knee slightly doesn’t appease them? Ask your boy Brees how that goes.
He probably has to let BLM run a train on his poor wife now just to keep them at bay.
You NEVER give an inch to these people. Stand your ground and weather their reeeeeeeee, and they’ll find another target stupid enough to appease them soon enough.

That would include the ability to directly edit or remove sections of upcoming interviews, or block the uploading of episodes deemed problematic. The employees also demanded the ability to add trigger warnings, corrections, and references to fact-checked articles on topics discussed by Rogan in the course of his multi-hour discussions.
I have to think Rogan's contract allows him freedom relative to the guests and content he produces: If he has Alex Jones or Ben Shapiro on Spotify is going to have to choke it down whether they agree with it or not.

Good luck. There's a line of more rational people waiting for these jobs.
