Plus it was really stormy here in Florida around that time which would explain any cloud movement/difference in the pics
It was 7 seconds - literally 7 seconds. Clouds don't change that much

I don’t really have an opinion on if it was fake or not but I did notice how it cut out and suddenly the ship was fully landed.

You know they lose the satellite link almost every time they do a landing at sea right?

Have y'all never watched these before? The video feed on the barge always cuts out.

You have no idea what you’re taking about.
I know for a fact it landed on the barge and if you want to challenge me I’ll be happy to discuss with you via Sonic.

The brightness/contrast/whatever is different in the two pictures making the bottom picture brighter and showing more sky coming through the clouds. The pattern is very similar. Especially the right side of the shot.

Video frickery or not, NASA was tracking anything in the sky larger than a shoe box. If they didn’t actually recover that stage, NASA knows about it.
LOL. Whatever.

and even though it looked fake as hell, I don't think Musk would allow such a thing to happen. They would simply cut off the feed and leave it at that for the time being until they could get some good messaging out.. and then Musk would casually reveal the whole truth on twitter or some youtube interview.

The video feed has a built in delay. When they lost signal they immediately switched to the live feed which could’ve been as much as a minute ahead

it looks like the same shot from a different angle
Posted on 5/30/20 at 8:32 pm to theunknownknight
The clouds are nearly identical.....looks like about a 7 sec difference if I had to guess.

I was indeed very suspicious when the video feed cut out and then all of a sudden it had just landed.
Not a bad interpretation. I wouldn't be surprised.

David Copperfield trick. That's where the "magic" happens.

Could it just have been a different camera onboard?
Posted on 5/30/20 at 8:37 pm to theunknownknight
Ok only a few in the carrier, how many back on shore who are supposed work on it afterwards. How many who created the second one. You think the amount of argument people argument is lame because it makes sense.

I assumed this to be the case but the feed also has a time stamp on it and it didnt seem quite right. I've seen previous landings where the timing of the video feed cutting off and cutting back in made sense. Also they usually show the actual landing.
The most plausible thing is that they somewhat bungled the production value of the video streaming and not the actual landing. They're getting paid to do the latter so that's okay but you know Elon is always worried about visuals.

You all-knowing conspiracy theorists are tiresome.
See this vid and educate yourself before you talk out of your arse.

The landing from a Coast Guard ship nearby was captured in real time. Losing signal on the drone ship is very common due to extreme vibrations near touchdown.
