Hasn’t Southwest historically been one of the better airlines?

It’s not an exaggeration at all, much less a massive one, and it’s the worst in Atlanta, Baltimore, and Chicago. Every person in a wheelchair can have a person in their party accompany them during boarding. My own personal record is 21 out of Baltimore to Atlanta.

Yep. New Orleans routinely has wheelchairs lined up along the entire length of the wall leading to the gate.

Didn’t know TD had a plethora of aviation logistical types on it.

I’m shocked.

It’s kind of funny when you see the Puerto Rico flights and pretty much the entire flight is on a wheel chair waiting.

My mom was suppose to fly home today from Nashville and it got cancelled. She doesn’t know when she can fly back. They are thinking 6 days. This is wild.

Double digit pre-boards on every SW flight is a massive exaggeration but even if it was true, what difference does that make to you?

Maybe not on every flight, but my flight to MCO two weeks ago had 13 families of children with 2 adults each. It was something like 30 passengers, and that is before all the other preboards. By time my boarding position of B15ish was up like half the plane was full minus middle seats.

Family boarding comes between A group and B group.

Well you're already in Jackson so it can only go up from there.

Pretty screwed, but less screwed than if it had been today. By Saturday you would expect things to look a little better.

SW employees posting on Reddit saying that it could 30+ days to get bags back to passengers.

Surprised we haven’t seen a riot yet.

My thoughts, too. She could even split the drive in half and still beat SWA by a week.

I think SWA is going to be very generous with reimbursement because they will be doing everything they can to keep the feds from going in raw.

Most people don't discipline their kids correctly. Count yourself lucky to not have to interact with them.

The pre boards with diabetes, sciatica, fat and black, etc. should piss you off more. It's just people taking advantage of the system.

I pay the Early Bird fee generally because my amex covers. Still finding myself start more at Bs, so its become a waste. Between all the A list, preboards and families.

SW has been great out of Hobby. I've flown domestically and internationally out of there. Only complaint is how long it takes to unload luggage.

Being located in Lake Charles, I refuse to pay American or United $750 for a connecting flight. I'll drive to Houston for that $250 SW flight every time.

Yeah I get that, but I have rarely gotten anything in A. I even paid for early bird check-in on the flight and got in the B's.

After getting my flight cancelled on 12/23 in all this shite with Southwest I will never fly them again. Only reason I did for this trip was I needed two checked bags for Christmas presents. Would have cost a whole lot less to just pay the checked bag fees.
