How much do you feel like you have to sweeten your coffee?
A teaspoon of sugar is all but negligible in basically all respects.

A lot of things are linked to a lot of other things
Correlation =/ causation
Correlation =/ causation

Aspartame is a very, very heavily researched substance and has proven to be very safe for regular consumption.. basically any study thusfar that shows negative outcomes is either highly flawed or they super mega dosed rats.
Im not too surprised by sucralose causing blood sugar spikes still, it still has substantial calories.. just less than sugar. Its labeled as 0 because of the <5 = 0 loophole, but iirc each packet of splenda is 2-3 calories. If youre chugging iced tea with splenda you're still downing plenty of calories, unknowingly.

Splenda (sucralose) is much better for you than a sugar filled diet. However no sugar/sugar substitute is better than either.

I use honey now in my coffee and actually love it more than sugar now in my coffee

All honey is is flavored sugar

People really do seem to overlook the fact that even natural honey is like 90% sugar. The positive vitamin/mineral effects are very minimal

Not what the study said. They had poor response to gtt.
Low carb people also have poor response to gtt.

Is drinking one or two cups of coffee a day with a teaspoon of sugar really a big part of a “sugar filled diet”?

Is Stevia bad for you too? I switched to that years ago.

God said Adam and Evia, not Adam and Stevia.

I’m convinced that almost anything is a healthier option than High Fructose Corn Syrup.

Stevia has been shown to be safe and not effect glucose/insulin levels. It’s natural but read the lane of the product to make sure it’s not mixed with other sweeteners.

I started using Bocha Sweet for my coffee. Only downfall is the price and availability.

Every single time I stop drinking the "Zero" drinks for a couple weeks, I drop weight like it's nothing. Zero calories my arse.
