Tell her you would be happy to check your cameras, but if it proves that the proper meds were dispensed you are then obligated to call the authorities for prescription fraud?

threatened to call the cops

for drug abusers, shite gets real when you involve the cops. they ain't scared of pharmacist, they think they can out smart or act the fool and he caves in. Cops, they know shite is real and they will normally run or leave store.

Generic drugs such as alprazolam are legally made by numerous drug manufacturers, occasionally a pharmacy will get in a different manufacturer for a particular drug, this could be for several reasons.

Sometimes a certain manufacturer is on back order or maybe the chain has a new contact with a new company to carry their medications

Told her.. "I am not saying you are lying, but the bottle you have has a date over a year old and its for a different type of medicine. Our records show that you received Drug A, there is nothing we can do for you"

What was the drug?

I used to be a pharmacist so here is what I say: I'm not calling you a liar, but the right pills were in that bottle when you picked them up. If you have a problem
Then you may want to switch pharmacies.

Thanks, yeah I was wondering about a few prescriptions.

I feel it's harder to wake up with this different batch, from wherever they are getting supplied.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have the cashiers at pharmacies have the customer confirm they have looked and are getting the right medications and then sign something. I'm sure customers pull this stuff all the time.

Is it remotely possible an old label was accidentally reprinted and then filled? If not, I would have called her a liar and asked her where to transfer her prescriptions since I wouldn't be filling her lying litigious arse anymore.

It would've worked better for her if she had taken the correct pills out of the recent bottle and put the old ones in there. Dumb b*tch.

Explained "impossible" to her. Be nice, and walk her to the door. Be nice, and walk her to the door.
