The only thing I can figure is that she lost her singulair

Or wants to stock up

Or gave some to a friend

There's no way she confused them

It was only a 5 dollar copay but the insurance would never pay for it today, there was a paid claim on 4/14/17

Plus, this lady would have never paid for it, that's like admitting she may be wrong.

That would mess up the entire scam

I've just never seen a scam for singulair. It's $20 max with out insurance.

Did she have a history at the store of this type of behavior already?

That'd be the only way I'd waste any energy arguing over singulair.

Having dealt with elderly relatives screwing up pills/prescriptions, I have to ask if it's possible that she simply made a mistake, and wasn't trying to scam you at all?

I mean, couldn't she have taken the correctly filled bottle home, stuck it on a shelf with all her other (old) meds, knocked it off the shelf or grabbed the wrong bottle and assumed that "That stupid store gave me the wrong meds!" In this scenario, yes, it sucks that she assumes YOU did wrong and there's no way she made a mistake, but unfortunately this is the mentality of some people I personally know--that there is no way they themselves could err, but others always make mistakes or are out to cheat them.

The only thing I can think of to do in your situation is to repeatedly point out that the date printed on the sticker is the date that the prescription was filled, so there is no way that particular prescription was filled yesterday.

This lady didn't make a mistake

She's mid 40s

Plus the singulair was in a pack

The furosemide was a bottle

It's impossible to print a label on 4/14/17 that says 3/3/16

If I had to guess, I would say this is more than likely the case. Like someone mentioned in a previous post, he is probably young..

You're missing the point. You said yourself you make way more than a 100k a year..how is this worth your time for a harmless script?

Check her purchase history and if she doesn't have a history, give it to her and move on.

Geez, I'd hate to be around you if there was a real issue.

So it doesn't make you the slightest bit angry when someone comes to your job, and lies about you doing something wrong?

It's not the money

I would give her 5 bucks

I've done that many times
