So since my divorce, I rent...Posted by schatman on 2/23/21 at 9:07 am

I have a small 3 bedroom house. Been there 4 years, and never had anything really strange happen, but always feel a little uneasy alone there. It was built in 1980- no one has died in it to my knowledge.
The 2 bigger bedrooms are split off at the end of a hallway. About a month ago, my 10 year old son and 15 year old son were asleep in the bedroom on the left. My 10 year old starts screaming bloody murder for me to come to his room right then. He says he sees a guy with a burnt face standing by the bed looking at the both of them. My 15 year old awakens during this, and I chalk it up to bad dreams.
This morning around 3, I wake and cant get back to sleep. In the bedroom on the R, which is the master. The kids aren't there, of course, but my GF is. Whenever I move, it's waking her up- so I go lay in the boys bedroom across the hall. I sleep, no issue. Well, this morning, my GF texts me and says that after I left, she heard me coming back in and walking around the bed to come to the other side, including hearing me move in front of the stand up fan I have in there. Only, I never get into the bed. She then hears the fan click on and off 4 times. She assumes it's the power going out, which occasionally happens. Only this morning, the clocks weren't blinking, so no power issues. And of course I tell her that I never left the other bed. Whatever she heard and felt wasn't me.
I'm a 49 year old man, and I legit am nervous to spend the night there alone tonight.

Install some machine gun turrets to kill those roof rats you got in your house.

Did you tell your gf it was probably the ghost with the burnt face playing with the fan watching her sleep?

I'd tell you I have a spare room for you until you can find another place, but I'm scared that you bring that burnt face fricker with you. Sorry.
