I don't have much confidence in the CDC.
They don't know whether to scratch their arse or wind their watch.
I wonder how much less the virus would have spread if we wore a mask from the git-go?

Somebody on the north east side of Atlanta needs to sit in a car next to the main entrance to the CDC mini-city and photograph and record the faces there with and without masks.

Nope, it’s about my liberties. What’s next, the govt will tell me what clothes to wear and what haircut to get? I’ll have to pick a haircut off the list like in China

This China flu has turned seemingly "normal" people into the whiniest bunch of babies I've ever seen. On one hand you have the fearmongers who think the country should shut down for 3 months. On the other are people who are bitching because they're inconvenienced and talking about anarchy.

That's fine up to the point that it affects others. Where that is us not always obvious. People continuing to ignore advice to stay home lead to these stronger measures to protect everyone.
How about an example. If we took a poll on TD right now, what percent would agree that the Chinese wet markets should be closed? Ok, now what about their liberties? See how that works?
