I don't have much confidence in the CDC.
This tells me that info coming from them including the left's revered Dr. Fauci is flawed and running way behind in understanding what we are dealing with.

CDC has always said masks were ineffective at keeping the wearer from being directly infected. That hasnt changed.

The mass use of masks is effective because it stops droplets from wearers from spreading to others.

Can someone explain this to me please?

I keep seeing this but I guess I'm stupid.

How does a mask only work 1 way?

If a mask stops the a droplet going out. Why doesn't a mask stop a droplet going in?

Because unless it's an n95, it's not tight and snug enough to prevent air from coming in when you breath around the seams. It is however very effective at greatly reducing the mucous droplets you produce when talking, coughing, and sneezing, from escaping.

And if you do have an n95, you have to dispose of it without touching it everytime it has possibility of being contaminated, which is not feasible for normal people or even feasible at all outside of a hospital type setting.

Because you touch things and then touch your face. That’s why it is not as effective at preventing you from getting it. But if you are sick, the masks stops you from spreading microscopic water droplets containing the virus and other infections.

My biggest issue is that hospitals can't even get their hands on masks, now they are telling us that the other 329 million of us need to get masks too? Really?

I get why it would be beneficial to wear one. But where exactly are they distributing them? Or even selling them? I guess it's next to the giant stockpile of hand sanitizer, on the aisle next to the unicorns and the leprechaun's pot o' gold?

Home Depot gets dust masks in every couple of days. Amazon has dozens of different kinds for sale.

Look at Japan. That's what happens when you don't have stupid people like Jack Daniel in your population.
