Joe Rogan has a podcast with a sleep expert that has a lot of great information and it changes my opinion of how important sleep is. I am sure to get at least 7 hours a night now and doing so without alcohol or anything else in your system is best.

However, I can also attest that pot makes me sleep MUCH better than I do sober, which is typically is night full of me waking up numerous times throughout the night.

Had inguinal hernia surgery earlier this year. I was laid up for about 4 days and had a couple tins of Moxey’s Mints. Stayed high as hell in bed during that time and never once felt the need to take the pain meds I was prescribed. Easiest surgery recovery I’ve had.

Does moxleys sell and ship to states like louisiana?

You can't be serious..

You can drink enough to pass out of course, but while alcohol might help you relax or even get tired... You don't get into a deep sleep. And a lot of alcohol over time can take a toll on you.

I don't know about edibles, but marijuana is the route to go.

As for as this 1936 documentary.. So in 1936 they though marijuana wasn't good for you while at the same time they used cocaine in coke and as a numbing agent?

Holy crap people are dumb. The OP is not really a troll. It combines obvious humor (the "hard hitting" doc Reefer Madness, and "no downside to alcohol"), with a legit request for feedback on the usefulness of edibles for insomnia. It was a humorous way to start a conversation. Have an upvote.

Their CBD products yes. Obviously not THC containing products. On the other hand, Illinois is now a recreational state, and the nearest dispensary to Louisiana in southern Illinois is only an 8-9 hour drive.

In Louisiana, Full Spectrum is only legal for Medical issues. We just wanted to try it hoping it would help with insomnia and some arthritic pain in the knee which would not be considered "Medical".

Sounds like your buddy is one quick step away from smoking pole for crank.

It certainly works

I would love to try it for my insomnia. I haven't smoked since high school (yes i know im a loser) but from what I remember its similar to what xanax does for me. Slows my head to a crawl and I can sleep.

1:10 THC:CBD gummies work great for me. I'm not keen on being too high, so only a little thc for me is good.

Same here, except I vape it, get high as shite for like an hour then fall into blissful sleep. Wake up feeling like a champ. Weed is so much "less bad" for you vs booze it really isn't even a contest.

Fully aware of your troll post but some people might actually become aware.

If you do it make sure you take them a few hours before bed so you don't wake up still high and out of it. This usually only happens when I down an absurd amount though.

I took three 10 mg gummies on the 4th of July this last year at like 6 pm and woke up still stoned out of my mind and had to call in to work

What’s also sad is the equal amount of people that believe there’s no downside to MJ either.

It's a mind/mood altering substance, of course there's a downside.

But when compared to legal recreational substances like alcohol or prescription meds like opioids, it has FAR fewer downsides.

I meant more serious medical issues such as epilepsy, cancer, chronic or debilitating diseases, etc...
