I could do 100% of my office work from home, but I don't know how much I would get done with my wife, 1 year old and if they close schools, my 6 year old at home.

I also have field work that takes up about 50% of my time, but I don't ever see or interact with anyone in the field, so that isn't a big deal.

I can do my job from my laptop so long as the VPN is working. Add in my kids and wife at home too? I won’t get jack done.

I could to an extent but at some point I have to see clients face to face

Zoom meetings are a thing though so it’s feasible

Not a baw but I've worked 100% remote for the last 7 years. Vast majority of our US employees are home based with varying amount of travel required depending on role.

I am currently working from home due to the coronas and liking it but I could not do this full time everyday. I am not disciplined enough for this. There are way to many distractions at home.

I’m excited to sit at my desk at the house completely naked and do my work.

Video conferencing might be awkward but hey, I’m in my own house. You can get fully dressed in your own house, but in mine, I’m working naked.

Clients would be upset with the lack of free lunch and beers. I guess I could have it delivered to them.

Except for site surveys I can work at home. The problem is that I have to put people on the sites to get the projects completed.

I could do 100% but would prob spend a lot more time playing golf, etc.

Being a butts in seats corporation, it’ll be interesting to see when all the old school managers (including me) get to that point.
