Ok dickhead, let me spell it out for you.
First, I'm not mad at the kid. She is a college girl, not all college kids do the smartest thing. No big deal.
Next, learn how to quote people. I said her roommates lives were in limbo, not at risk. Either way, they may or not get sick. Who knows. But they have to stayed holed up til the test result comes back
But as we have found, people can carry the virus and not have symptoms. The roommates will probably be ok. I will probably be ok if I happened to pick it up from the girl I tutored.
But keep your eye on the ball here. I don't want you to get lost.
The problem is not that I might get sick...the problem is that I might have picked up the virus from the girl I know, and might not even know it. And if I am feeling asymptomatic, I'm still going to go visit my mom, who is pushing 70 and is "at risk". I could pass the virus to my mom and not even know it.
Is it that hard to understand how it only takes a couple of degrees of separation for a person who IS at risk to contract the virus?

If you are visiting your mother, it’s on you to not mix with people. Not on the people you chose to mix with to not go out in their free time.
I mix with people who go all over the place, even when I wasn’t going places. Because of that, I made the decision not to visit old people.

Nope. My daughter has a co-worker who went to Tigerland every night once it opened. Ten days later starting feeling sick, headache, bad sore throat, fever. She has COVID. Now all of the employees are getting tested because the sick girl went to work for days with symptoms before thinking it was not a good idea to go to work. Someone told her to get tested, and she was positive.

This is a real problem. Not for the 20 somethings, the other people they interact with because they think it's no big deal.

It isn’t. Tigerland has nothing to do with the university so if large numbers of students decide to go to a private business off LSU’s campus; there is nothing the university can do.

So what's the solution? We can't keep everything shut down. We are just going to have to go about our lives and take precautions if you are high risk. This isn't an ebola outbreak.
