So 100 new cases in Tigerland over the weekend. What does that mean for LSU?

If you have 100 new cases linked to Tigerland over the weekend say 2,000 people were there. How can they possibly open the dorms. I have an incoming freshman and just wondering if I should start looking for houses or apartments. But if they can’t open dorms then I have a feeling everything will be online again. What says the OT?

I’m gonna go with, the majority are just colds and sinus issues and they are just being called covid.

I remember hitting it hard during football seasons and waking up Sunday after a 4 day bender and my sinuses were jacked and i felt like crap. I didn’t have covid. It was my body saying ok now, let’s chill out.

Because they're all 18-22 years old and the virus poses no real threat to them.

100 kids have a virus with no symptoms. Time to panic.

How many college aged people have died that have no co-morbidities? ZERO. STFU and stop panicking. Lay off the soy

I agree with you in that. Everyone just needs to get it. But, no way LSU lets that happen.

It means a 100 kids in their early 20’s will be safe and sound and helping to build herd immunity in 5-6 days

They know they are not going to die so they don’t give a frick about social distancing. If I was 21 I would be trying to get it just so the bs would be over for me

It’s PR though LSU is a public university they have no idea what these kids are going home to. What if they live with older parents or auto immune parents. What then?

If I was still in college I'd be chasing tail in Tigerland too. I wouldn't give two shits about the Rona

Who cares? If the old parents are so concerned, keep the kids home. Don’t let them have a life.

Parents should probably take steps to isolate themselves. Can’t shut down all of society because of a slightly elevated risk to a subsection of the population.

Imagine being so uninformed that you think this virus means anything for people under 40

This is such a truly ridiculously stupid mindset.

People make their own choices. If anyone is still going home and hugging and kissing their grandparents, then that is on them.

They should be more worried about a STD than Covid in those bars

I'm over 40 and not that concerned about it. The wife and I are reasonably healthy so I think our risk level is very low.

I’m just amazed that we are more than three months into this and people still do not understand what age groups this really affects
