As of now, no need to file that Beneficial Ownership Information report that you all were so worked up about. Injunction is a stay to prevent enforcement until a decision on constitutionality is decided.

I get it. I searched before and didn't find it. I've got to send an email out to clients and I wanted more than a TD thread as the source.

Thanks for everyone posting a link.

If your clients cannot trust TD as your source, then you really need to start vetting your clients better

While I don't agree with it, I wouldn't go so far as call it burdensome. Took me less than 10 mins to fill out.

Sweet. My instinct to ignore the shite out of that was correct.

My CPA said they won't do it, and another wanted nearly a grand to fill it out. fricking racket.

Seriously? For a small business it takes 5-10 mins at most. Its essentially like a state LLC registration.

Texas Courts care about public transportation in Harrison County, Mississippi?

Filling out the form is not all there is.

What happens if you filled out the form incorrectly?
What if it got lost in the mail, and it wasn't received by deadline?

What were they going to do with the information anyway?

Signing your name at the bottom of a contract you didn't read is not burdensome, but the consequences might be!

I’m sure there is not much to it, but just looking into it would have cost me an hour. I asked my lawyer to do them.
