There are two schools of thought here:

1-All you had to do was laugh and play it off. You totally overreacted and ruined it for your kids. Not him. If you had simply said, aww kids, he’s just being funny and then given him the STFU look, all would have been fine. Bc at that point who would the kids have believed? Of course you and your husband. But your overreaction killed that chance.

And I think that’s probably because you’re a helicopter mom, who flips out if one of your kids skins their knee, and you went nutso tonight because you can’t have little Johnny and Susie upset. And now your kids are weenies because of it.


#2- Let your husband beat his arse. He sounds like a Starbucks drinking, scruffy, fu manchu having, man bun wearing little puke. And he is probably one of those work from home, self righteous, tech geek pansies that performs slam poetry and thinks it’s wrong to lie to your kids about Santa. All because he’s a pompous, self important little know it all who doesn’t want to have any kids because he doesn’t want to increase his carbon footprint.
