Please consult a therapist and show us on the doll where you were touched and at what age?

This is how kids get molested by relatives. This is why teens end up in exploitative relationships with long-lasting trauma. That's how you end up with people in abusive relationships long into their 20s or 30s because they didn't know they could say no and protect their comfort zone and wellbeing. Because they're show time and time again that people's bodies are only theirs until someone turns on the waterworks, and then they're supposed to shut up, give up all their boundaries, and placate that person.

Is that what my sister wants to teach her kids? Really? That's what she's setting him up for? i'm not the a-hole. She is.

What in the frick are you talking about?

And here is the problem. Holding a 3 month old baby that is your nephew doesn't constitute molestation.

my sister believes in emotional manipulation in order to trample people's personal boundaries regarding their bodily autonomy.

i should have asked her how she would feel if 15 years from now, her kid gets cornered by a classmate who starts touching him, and when her son says he doesn't want that, the classmate starts weeping and accusing her son of being rude for not letting his bodily autonomy be engrossed upon.

Because that's essentially what she did to me. Her kid can't even understand the world yet, and he is already being shown that personal boundaries and comfort zones don't matter if they make someone else upset.

did you seriously just link holding a baby to being molested as a child? I'm glad you don't plan on having kids. The world doesn't need your DNA in the gene pool.

does your mother find this kind of name-calling to be honorable and decent. if you had good parents, you wouldn't be acting like this on an internet forum.

Sister cried when I didn't want to hold her baby
(self.childfree)

submitted 22 hours ago by brinkrunner

I (32m) have always always always let it be known that I find babies disgusting and don't want anything to do with them. With everyone, including my family.

My sister recently had her first child. The first child amongst all my siblings.

Thanksgiving dinner, the family gets together. Including the 2 month old infant. They are all fawning over this child, but when I get there he is asleep in the other room. I pray he stays asleep.

But no, he soon wakes up and is brought out to the dinner table. The child is shoved in my face regardless of my distaste. My sister asks me to hold the child. I say no thanks. She then gets a bit hysterical and starts crying and says she can't understand why I'm so rude.

Apparently she thought that my feelings were fake and after so many years of hating children, this 2 month old infant would be the one that changes my mind?

Idk, am I the a-hole here? Should I have sucked it up just because it's my nephew?

R/childfree is awesome because it’s filled to the brim with selfish psychos who will never procreate. Like a live action exhibit on Darwinism.

Hell yeah I am. China and India account for 40% of the human population. By 2100 Africa will have more people than any other continent.

The absolute carrying capacity of earth for humans is not precisely known but do we want to risk reaching that number all of a sudden? Aren’t we supposed to be the most intelligent species?

I pray that you’ll have a son one day and realize how wrong you were. Kids are possibly the greatest gift to humanity.

You can say that again. Some of the people on there are psychopaths. It is definitely a good thing that they don't procreate. Some of those posters are the type of people you read about that murdered their infant baby for crying too much.

No patience for their bullshite. Keep up the good fight!

Didn’t read past the first page, but I had quite a chuckle that no one in the first 19 replies recognized this as a Reddit copypasta. GreatLakes pulls this pretty often and it’s always enlightening to identify the rubes who fall for it.
