This is 1000% true.

If you’re a decent looking, non-poor dude who can hold a conversation, you’ll be able to pull all kinds of pull, but finding a permanent one is crazy tough.

Shockingly true. I’ve surprised myself by outkicking my coverage in the looks department pretty well after 30, but they end as easily as they start.

Only good side is that usually end pretty easily without drama because it only takes one little stupid thing like a missed call or text.

Slim pickins since Covid, though.

I’m 48. Divorced 10 yrs and have had 3 2+year relationships but I’ve been single single for almost 2 years. I shut down the apps bc it was the same ole thing and I got tired of the getting to know each other phase. Completely lost interest and don’t take flirtations serious. I’m not rude about it but I just don’t act on it to pursue something.

I think I’m ready to date again but have thoroughly enjoyed this time alone and working on myself.

I’ve never tried online dating, other than browsing profiles. Always seemed like any single woman in my age range either had ridiculous expectations, or multiple kids with no real career.

At least in bars you can assess pretty quickly if it’s going anywhere or just wasting time. But again, Covid screwed that game up pretty bad.

30s dating is great. There are plenty of single women in late 20s and early 3 0s that are good looking and have brains. In other words, quality. And don't have the baggage.

30s dating was fun but I disagree about the baggage when it comes to young kids. Now that I am 48 most people my age have kids graduating from college or just the caboose left at home. I don’t mind kids but I definitely don’t want to start over raising young kids again and that’s mostly what you find in your 30s.

There are a lot more dudes out there than women you'd want to waste money on.

Took me a while and I finally found a woman. I dated a few gals that turned out to be hoes and got cheated on a couple times or they were clingers. Finally found me a gal that there is a mutual support respect and love and I think I may eventually put a ring on. We been together for 18 months with a 2 month breakup and got back together. Once you get through some tough times and realize everything isn't always rosy but get through that together you have found the right one.

Not much incentive for well educated, highly compensated baws in their pate 20s/30s to settle down. Most women are so fricked up by social media they are undateable. Not worth risking divorce and losing everything you worked hard for

Tinder, bumble, and hinge.

I live in a transient town now, so everything is very casual. Honestly, it's like shooting fish in a barrel right now. As has been mentioned already, though, there is nothing worth taking seriously here.
