But don’t date older women.

I’m dating and probably about to marry one 5 years older than me. She is down to earth, cooks, cleans, does my laundry, has a good job. No kids or baggage like that. Way more mature than women my age and is more traditional

We’re not all like that. Most guys in that age range are bitter/angry because they married the wrong woman and are wasting huge amounts of money on child support/alimony. Single, sexy 50 something guys are where it’s at.

Maybe I hold my female single friends over 30 in higher regard than some of my buddies, but if you listen to their dating stories most of the time its entitled and self-absorbed dudes in their 30s and up who think they are superior specimens who are the problem.

And the married and kids to early/settled bitter dudes is a real thing. Honestly, if I would have married in my early 20s with the type of women I was dating then there is a good chance I would have ended up bitter husband and/or father. Its different for everyone, getting married in my 30s was perfect for me.

Yall need to go back to 60s. For the record men make these career choices all the time and no one looks down on them. Also I love hanging a smart wife with an awesome professional career.

Nobody is looking down on them. I just don’t think I’d be compatible with them as they have a higher chance of being liberal from my anecdotal experience on dating apps

No. But you did:

As a recent divorced baw with grown kids I have no real intention of ever dating again. I’ve discovered rather mid- late in life that I really don’t like the company of women very much . I’m pretty psyched about my career, drinking whiskey with my friends, going to ballgames, traveling the world and hanging out with my dog though.
But are going to stay in very close contact with your palm.

This. Women are narcissistic attention whores.

I'll take the coffee loving Disney whore over the social media whore any day of the week. Seriously, frick social media. The amount of time spent on social media is directly correlated to how crazy a woman is.

It gets harder with every passing year. I made the mistake of letting my dick do the thinking and get myself into a relationship with a psychopath, albeit a good looking one and in the process I pushed away my high school sweetheart. Thankfully I was lucky enough to get her back after the other relationship crashed and burned.

I got divorced in my mid-30's and the dating life for about two years after was a frickin riot. The best time you can have with your pants both on and off.

Your mileage may vary, and I'm sure the equation bears a fair amount on if you are fun, etc... There is a lot of divorced women out there as well in the same box.

Some are bitter, more are awesome and just want to have fun for the first time in quite a few years. Seek that out.

There are also some true gems out there that just could never find the right one. Good luck!

I’m mid 50’s married for 25 years( happily) we are same age I don’t think we would ever get divorced but if we did or she passed away. I would be exactly like you

I am in my 50's. Been single all my life. I know a widowed lady that I graduated College with. Lives about a mile from me. I have been trying to get with her bc she is cute and cool but I havent had any success. We text back and forth but I am friend zoned.

last month, I asked her straight up for a FWB relationship. She never replied back.

I am too old for the 30 something crowd and the 50 something crowd are unavailable or their posting selfies from their Boyfriend's boat. Some women that are divorced expect to marry Tim Tebow...lol.
