Food poisoning from Denny’s. Death would’ve been welcomed.

Same except mine came from Canes, the original one by campus. Haven’t eaten Canes since 2003.

Several months ago. Had pneumonia and I'm going through Leukemia treatment. It sucked for a couple of weeks.

Height/weight ?

Currently, 5'9", 185. Overweight, but not obese. Work out most days, Peloton, dumbbells, running/walking, etc.

ETA: When I was at home, in the middle of throwing up every drop of liquid in my body to try and counteract my rising blood sugar levels, my weight went as low as 172.

Full blown flu, December 2017. Did not remember taking one of my finals. Professor contacted me saying she didn’t have my test. Panicked. Received email two hours later telling me she found it and I scored an “A.”

The endocrinologists aren't sure what kicked it off but my triglycerides went from under 150 to too high to count in less than a year. They described it like sand going through my organs the levels were so high. My lab reports from then just show >2000 but I remember one saying my levels were 7000-8000.

The best I get from them is "its just genetics" but still no explanation how I went from healthy to not in less than a year. They all agree it wasn't diet, I was eating low carb with lots of proteins at the time.

Caught a horrible flu bug in Alexandria one time. On God I had a temp of 109. Couldn’t get up off the couch for two days.

This is when I got sick too in the post above. Had to be the same bug. It was absolutely awful.

Probably the first time I had pneumonia. Kept putting off going to the doctor and ended up in the hospital. Learned a lesson the hard way. Even cracked a rib from coughing so much so I had a reminder of that lesson for quiet awhile after.

Crazy how your health can just change on a dime. Enjoy it while you can.

I've watched as people's jaws have literally dropped as my situation changes in seconds with chronic pancreatitis. Like in the time it takes to complete my sentence I go from OK to damned near time to call for the amber-lamps kinda change in outward appearance type sick.

So yes, definitely enjoy good health while one can.

ETA: pneumonia was a breeze, had cavitating severe case in mid right lung earlier this year. Only noticed on ER portable x-ray after a fall when my ion channels collapsed so all my muscles were starting to misfire (including heart).

Paid an escort in Istanbul to pour champagne in her puss and plug it with a strawberry and then let me suck it out.

Are you sure that was Instanbul and not Countstantinople?

Onset of the stomach bug before the vomiting set in. Told my husband to call the priest. It was 2017 and it lasted weeks. Once the puking stopped, I still had vertigo for weeks.
