I want this so badly. It's not THAT classic in this photo, but classic enough and I want it.

There someone in Mid City BR with that exact color combo, it’s gorgeous. A close runner up is the burgundy color like John Candy’s in The Great Outdoors.

Yep. He lives in Garden District area and works downtown. Creepy, I know. I cut through overpass/Garden Dist. on my way to/from downtown every day and we are in front of or behind each other at least once a week.

I am always staring at it because I love it, and he has that thing in perfect condition.

Parents had one circa 1987. Brown with the brown wood trim. If I hit the lotto that’s where I’m going.

Would have to replace the whole engine, drive train, electronics, etc. The originals were shite.

My brother had one of these as his first high school vehicle. My dad was proud when he bought it. My brother hated it. Granted, it was broken down a lot. It got traded in for a 1989 Honda Civic 5 speed, which my brother liked infinitely more. Odd.

My dad owned this exact model/color. He sold it in 1976 for $600. It kills him to watch televised auctions where it now sometines sells for more than $100,000.00.

Over the years I’ve had Roadrunners, Chargers, and even a Cuda. They looked cool but it got to the point they weren’t enjoyable to drive. They became dust collectors. I ended up shipping the Cuda to the Tampa area and sold the Roadrunner locally. I did stay in the Mopar game though and bought a widebody Challenger. It is a fun car to drive.

I worked with an old car salesman in his early 80s that used to own an Oldsmobile dealership from the late 50s to early 80s and he would talk about how those Cutlass Supremes were the greatest cars he ever sold. Loved talking old business with him.
