Is a knee on the neck a common move to restrain people? Was wondering if this is taught to these LEO’s.

If the law were fair, and justice actually mattered, Floyd would still be safe and sound and alive in prison today.

That's sort of the problem, isn't it?

EVERYONE, regardless of skin color, should be in favor of police reform.

Cops shouldn't be allowed to police themselves.

No knock warrants should be illegal.

Civil asset forfeiture should be illegal.

You ever heard of Tony Timpa?

Tony Timpa Article

FYI nothing happened to those officers.

How can anybody be so cruel?" Vicki Timpa asked.

Overcome with emotion, she said it's too hard to watch her son scream for help on the video -- she doesn't understand why criminal charges were dropped and why the officers returned to active duty.

The strategy

The News could not immediately identify officers on the tape, but two confirmed on the audio that they mocked Timpa. The officers recorded at the disciplinary hearing received written reprimands; records show Senior Cpl. Raymond Dominguez and Officer Danny Vasquez were disciplined for discourtesy and unprofessionalism in relation to the Aug. 10, 2016 death of Timpa.

Bull freaking shite. My 1st cousin was killed by the Monroe Police Dept. in 1984. He was an alcoholic and homeless. Was beat to death by the police because he was drunk and sleeping in a railroad container. They severely beat him and threw him in jail with no medical help. He passed away a few hours later. One of the female guards at the jail told my Aunt what happened to him.
The cops that did this faced no punishment and neither did the jail. My Aunt was never the same after that, he was her only child too. So don't tell me this doesn't happen to white people because it damn sure does.

it's very bad, cop clearly had a checkered history

Where I deviate somewhat from the protests isn't that it's race related, it's that everyone isn't calling for change in terms of policing and brutality against all.

I would think everyone would be for that, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Police brutality is very isolated and doesn't affect many who arent involved in criminal activity in some kind of way.

The difference is that the white community doesn't take up for its criminals on a whole.

His cause of death was asphyxiation cause by the dead beat cops knee on his neck, and just to educate you on the primary cause of heart attack is lack of oxygen to the cardiac tissue.

I have yet to see one piece of evidence that he was a racist.

If social media has taught me anything the past over the past couple of weeks is that if you are white, don't kiss the boots of black men, don't kneel to black men, don't let black men run a train on your wife then have her suck each one off on demand you are racist. After I let every black guy I could find frick my wife white girls started calling everyone racist, I don't know how to give my privilege to white chicks.

The police officer did possibly commit manslaughter, but there is NO evidence that I’ve seen that shows he acted out of racial malice; it just isn’t there. In this country a man should be given benefit of doubt barring evidence to contrary.

I and many I know DO want police reform, but absolutely refuse to bow down to this false narrative and identity politics bullshite.

Your damn right I went police reform including ending no-knock warrants, ending civil forfeiture, and de-militarizing the police, but this way is a hard no.

Well, this exact scenario with Floyd happened 4 years ago in Dallas. Funny how this wasnt much of a story then, or isn’t brought up more right now.
