Statistically black people break the law more than white people.

EVERYONE, regardless of skin color, should be in favor of police reform.

Cops shouldn't be allowed to police themselves.

No knock warrants should be illegal.

Civil asset forfeiture should be illegal.
Not one of these would have had any effect on the Floyd murder.

I've never seen that story before. But, personally, I am 100% again no-knock warrants. I feel like I have seen where it goes wrong too many times and an innocent person ends up dead.

I still remember the case years ago in GA where an elderly grandma thought someone was breaking into her house, so she fired her weapon at what she thought were Intruders who didn't announce themselves. In return, the officers lit her up.

I said this in other threads, not sure how this was tied to racism unless he said something or had previous incidents of racism to relate it to.

Or, it was an opportunity to loot and riot.

It's absolutely a stupid term that has been used--very ironically--to make someone feel guilty about their position.

But that's precisely why it needs to be reappropriated when it actually fits, both the movies from which the term derived, and the later adoption in abnormal psychology.

Are you saying that telling someone she is subconsciously a racist despite ZERO evidence that they actually are isn't a form of narcissistic psychological abuse? Or are you just talking out of your arse?

And how do you think you know how old I am? Not only did I have a rotary phone, but also a party line. Dick.

She's been out drinking wine coolers on her boyfriend-brother's wave runner on Lake Oconee all day. Nice lake, but unfortunately they have public boat ramps.

No idea how old you are, don't care, as per the saying. Gaslighting is stupid as hell.

And yeah, it isn't as exclusive as I'd like, but we have a lot of family friends there and it's on way to in-laws and friends in SC, so we suffer through it.

We slum at the Ritz when not staying with friends.

For someone who doesn't care how old I am, and thinks Gas Lighting is stupid, you sure seem fixated on your sense of superiority and need to belittle people based on your perception of their age.

No idea. Most comments on here correspond to people who've got no notion of their reference point (historically speaking).

You're a tremendously unique erudite specimen of Dorian Grey attributes, no?

Anyway, I'm pleased your Ritz time here wasn't too taxing for you and your family.

Belittle? I'm simply stating that this, like many recent linguistic inventions, is ridiculous.

And? I didn't mention George Floyd. Those things would still be worth pursuing even if he didn't exist.

ETA: Since the OP was about George Floyd, I'll say that maybe people wouldn't feel the need to protest if police accountability were a thing.

General police brutality?

Do you believe it's endemic?

His cause of death was asphyxiation cause by the dead beat cops knee on his neck, and just to educate you on the primary cause of heart attack is lack of oxygen to the cardiac tissue.

and this came from the autopsy from the family friend. The coroner released the official report stating his COD was a heart attack. Now you have point about lack of oxygen, but the defense lawyer also has FACTS that this man had meth and other harsh drugs in his system. I am sure that you realize that dope can also blow a heart valve out, right?...Heart attack dude

If the law were fair, and justice actually mattered, Floyd would still be ...

here is what you should have said, " in JAIL but not from the incident of the day he died!" He would be in jail if the system was "FAIR" from the time he forcefully, broke into a woman's home with his four friends outside... oh he had a gun while doing so, which should have put him away for life.
Now lets talk about fair...
