Should the Cajuns get reparations from The Crown?

The Acadians were kicked out of their homes in Canada by the Brits. They were forced to leave at the same time they were told to leave. They were forced to wander North America until they finally found a home in South Louisiana.
So does the Crown of England owe their descendants a check?

Cajuns are Americans, which means they are part of the team that kicked Dad’s arse. We are our own man now.

I wonder how many Cajuns served under Governor Galvez during his offensive against the British in West Florida. I assumed Galvez's forces that took Baton Rouge, Mobile, etc were mostly made up of Islanos

My great something grandfather was a part of the Galvez expedition. He was in the militia in St. James. He was not Islanos. He and his brothers arrived in St. James in 1765 from Canada.

By this logic, the US should be getting reparations from the Central American countries that are dumping their citizens at the US border telling them to apply for asylum.

I guess I should clarify that he was American. He wasn’t from France. But he was a descendant of people who came from France and didn’t go through Canada like the Cajuns.
