No, you shouldn't be offended. You should be immune to her mind games.

I'll admit I've found myself here in my own past and I'd advise you to cut that shite off. Stupid idea. If you're broken up, be broken up. There's no being "friends" with an ex. If exes are "friends" still hovering around each other, it's one party pretending while hoping for reconciliation and the other party keeping them on the hook while considering other options. Get out now. You're wasting your life not moving forward while worrying about this dumb shite this girl is doing.

Perhaps the most straight to the point best advice I have ever seen posted on here.

Jody seems to mainly impact the plant baws on here. I guess it is possible if he is a plant baw.

OP sounds desperate if this is his pickings.

You should’ve stopped/blocked contact with her immediately. Find someone you genuinely wants to be with you and has a lot less baggage.

Jody is a very busy gentleman

She and he did you a favor. Been in that situation a few times and there's nothing you can do to compete with history. No matter how well you treat her and the kids.
Won't ever date a woman recently divorced or going through a divorce again. Kids make it more complicated by tugging on the heart strings.
In my experience, most women with kids take years (plural) to get over their ex-husbands and move onto another long-term relationship, if they ever do.
It's usually a fools errand for a single man.

Whiny women seeking attention from other women do that shite. My oldest friends daughter is divorced has 2 kids and goes from loser to loser. He last bf was in jail and dumped her as son as he got out. She post the same stuff, just a little girl seeking attention and pity. Be thankfully you are not with her.

Isn't it weird how humans can get so "addicted" to a specific person that they will drive themselves mad and endure ridiculous hardships.
When the REALITY is there are a shiat ton of humans on this planet, and it's not terribly hard to find another one that will have the secks with you.
I'm not immune, I remember dating. I remember anger and jealousy.
But I also remember dating when I wasn't in a relationship. It was glorious.

This will eventually be a problem for you . If you
try and move on no matter who you date she will think that they are not good enough for you and talk shite about you. Why would you want to put yourself through that. If she can’t decide whether she wants to be with you or a looser you need to run. It will never work out. She will eventually ask you for money to help pay bills or some other expenses she might have. If you say no it will be the end of your relationship then. No since in prolonging that outcome

Women never take responsibility for anything. Ever. Now social media has taught them they are always the victim.

Of course he should be offended. It’s like he never existed to her.
He didn't matter to her. She wasn't ready to move on. You shouldn't be offended by someone who doesn't matter to you.
It's easier said than done, trust me. I am the queen of taking things personally and not being able to let them go.
But I can give good advice from an outside looking in.
