re: What female celebrities have you seen and how did their looks compare to expectations?
Posted by The Great Hambino on 12/16/25 at 1:47 pm to HueyLongJr
Cameron Diaz at Magic Kingdom in WDW. She was dating A-Rod at the time (spring training) and had his kid with her. She had pretty weathered skin. Not nearly as pretty as I expected.
Tori Spelling at Pat O’s in 96. She was insanely skinny.
Demi Moore after she had filmed Striptease. Absolute smoke show.
Britney Spears, but she was in school at Parklane. Pre singing career and was on the Mickey Mouse Club. I was in college. My old coach was a coach there at the time.
Sandra Bullock walking out of Victoria’s Secret when she was filming a Time To Kill in Jackson/Canton, MS. She was prettier in person.

re: How long did it take you to know your spouse was marriage material? Study says 172 days

Got engaged within 6 months and married 7 months after that. We had been good friends for two years prior to dating. Will be married 16 years next month. I highly recommend the friends first thing.

I don’t think LSU fans hang their hats on class and sophistication. Ole Miss fans hire decorators for their tailgates.

Don’t take your kid to that game. Lifelong LSU fan and married an Ole Miss fan. Zero class and sophistication under normal circumstances, next year will be terrible. Even my Ole Miss wife admits it’s worse going to that game in Oxford.
If you wear ole Miss gear you are fine, but I refuse to do that for the LSU game.

Video games and cell phones/tablets.

The level of butt hurt I will have to endure in Mississippi for the foreseeable future will be miserable. It’s already like Kiffin broke up with his borderline girlfriend. ??
re: Why are Ole Miss fans pissed at Lane?
Posted by The Great Hambino on 11/25/25 at 7:09 pm to SidewalkTiger
Ole Miss fans are going to take the “how he’s leaving” stance because it becomes a moral issue vs the reality that other programs are better than theirs. I married into an Ole Miss family and live in Mississippi. The level of butt hurt and bashing LSU is very elevated right now.
I just a play the video of Les saying he’s not going to Michigan and say, “if you aren’t leaving that is how let everyone know.”

The hate will be worse than when Tubberville left.

Or all parties know what is going on and they are waiting for the regular season to be over with because all parties tend to gain something from it.

Lane Kiffin wasn’t in Tiger Stadium. Joey Freshwater was. ??

I wonder if they can track refreshes on this site right now. I bet it would be amazing.

Funny would be some rich Ole Miss booster is trolling Tigerdroppings just chartering flights from Oxford to Baton Rouge for fun.

Urban is as big an a-hole as Brian Kelly

What is absurd is a player can get benched at any moment. They can lose their scholarship if they don't perform. A coach, when they show a lack of ability to do their job, you are stuck with them because of their contract. I was pleased with the BK hire on the front end, but I have never liked him. Seems like an A-hole and just not much likeable about the guy in general. The problem with him, Les, Jimbo, and any other coach is their contracts. They get paid regardless, but they aren't held to the same standard as their players.
I'm not sure if Louisiana doesn't need to adopt what Mississippi had at one point, which is no state employees contract can last more than 4 years. There has to be some way to navigate this moving forward. No coach lasts 10 years unless they are amazingly successful, but that is super rare. I also understand the cubbard was bare when CBK came in, but with the portal and NIL (for those who are good at working them) it doesn't take 4-5 years to rebuild anymore.

Corso called it yesterday and he was right about FSU. If this is the way the Tigers are plYing week 1. l think we have a solid run ahead of us. Defense looked like they haven’t looked in forever.

8u to 12u was a hot mess. Coach drama, parent drama, it was generally unhealthy. My fault was staying on a team solely because we had friends (parents) on the team and my son had friends on the team. 13u we played on a team with a coach who picked kids with talent, but were solid young men. It was a completely different experience. We were good and zero drama. Went from AA to AAA. That didn't mean other teams didn't act a donkey, but it was a lot easier to deal with when our parents just sort of ignored stupid behavior.
This fall we have a new coach, half the kids stayed on the team and we added 5 more kids. The same environment exists. Both coaches (13u and 14u) played D1 Baseball and are very laid back. Expect a lot from the kids, but don't scream like psychopaths when little Johnny doesn't do something right.
Play on a team with solid coaches, parents are rational adults and play on a team where your kid gets better. The stupidity that is travel ball is much easier to handle, or at least it is from my perspective on a solid team with good parents.

Anna Nicole Smith’s Guess Jeans ads were pretty stellar.
