The comments on that Instagram page say that before they were edited by her family, the victim’s IG page and stories were full of guns and talk about killing people, so I’m guessing she had a few enemies and she was the target. Lots of her family/friends defending her. Lol at the comments saying they better not ask for Gofundme Donations, or for ppl to buy soggy dinner plates.

Using or Carrying a Firearm During a Crime of Violence or Drug Trafficking Crime
Federal firearm laws are especially harsh on individuals who use guns while they commit other crimes. 18 U.S.C. § 924(c) sets mandatory minimum sentences for individuals who “use or carry a firearm” during the commission of a crime of violence or drug trafficking crime.
The potential minimum sentences depend on the type of gun and how the gun was used during the violent or drug trafficking crime. Under Subsection (c):
There is a minimum five-year sentence for the mere possession of a gun during the crime;
There is a minimum seven-year sentence for “brandishing” a gun during the crime;
There is a minimum ten-year sentence if the gun is discharged during the crime;
If the gun is a short barreled rifle or shotgun, the minimum sentence is ten years; and
If the gun is a machine gun or a “destructive device,” the minimum sentence is thirty years.
I guarantee if they caught a republican with a machine gun, their house would be raided, everything seized and you'd be locked up for a long time. Probably throw some terrorist charge in their as well.
