That sounds awful. Being dismissed by doctors is the worst, especially when the side effects you noticed were listed. A decent person would have checked the side effects if they weren’t sharp enough to have them memorized, and at least agreed it was a small possibility the medicine caused the behavi...
The comments on that Instagram page say that before they were edited by her family, the victim’s IG page and stories were full of guns and talk about killing people, so I’m guessing she had a few enemies and she was the target. Lots of her family/friends defending her. Lol at the comments saying the...
3:47 pm yesterday at a busy intersection. Amazing they already arrested suspects. https://www.wdsu.com/article/new-orleans-central-business-district-shooting-video/46440489 You can check out the victim’s IG page @dafemalereaper_07 linked on @nolastreets_history IG https://www.instagram.com...

Tip fatigue is real. Imagine going for frozen yogurt. Your kid fills up a cup with toppings, puts it on the scale…$13! And then a tip option shows up on the screen. Your kid grabbed the bowl, filled it up, walked it over to the register.. why tip for that overpriced nonsense? Or Walmart plus. WT...

You are so interesting, TulaneLSU. I like this site. There isn’t anything like it. It’s like a general store. Sometimes I like the mean/funny posts. Other times I think “what a-holes”. Either way, it’s way better than my second best (NO Reddit) where there’s a general feeling of whiny victim. The...

No offense taken! There are definitely the friends who roll their eyes when you make extreme changes and the ones who cheer you on. I’ve always liked seeing people making good changes bc it’s inspiring, but some get annoyed for whatever reason. ...
The government is basically begging small business to close shop. That was the entire purpose of the Covid shutdowns.
That was what made the whole thing so bizarro world. Liberal types who prided themselves on not supporting big chains, wanted stores closed, and their favorite l...
So many different ways. Some get off to a great start with parents paying for wedding and house down payment. Some make just low enough to get food stamps and Medicaid and save a bunch there. The ones right above that are the ones who have to get clever. No subscriptions, one car, no paid haircu...

That’s incredible. I don’t have much of a craving for junk at this point (day 22), but I know I won’t be completely strict with this when it’s done. A lot of my social life is tied into cooking/eating with friends and family and it’s a bummer to turn down a little slice of cake someone was so excite...

I worked with veterinarians years ago and their insurance was going up every year. There were multiple ones at the clinic and each billed differently. There was the one everyone loved (her hallway would be filled with Xmas presents and cards every year from clients). She would tell people alternativ...

I’ll look into that. I’ve heard about nattokinase but haven’t looked into it. I do lots of potatoes now. I’m not sure how anyone would stay full otherwise. ...
Meat is not bad for you.
This gets into the whole cholesterol debate. My instinct is that a heavily carnivorous diet is perfectly fine (as far as heart/artery health) *as long as there isn’t also a lot of sugar in the mix. Bacon fat melts in your hand (so body temp) but try gett...

Not a whole lot less, but I wonder how a little quinoa etc., would change the positive effects. I’m not sure how healthy eating so much meat is, compared to something more like the Mediterranean Diet. ...

Whole 30

Any people here who have done Whole30? What do you think? I’m on day 12 of my second one and don’t know anyone who’s done it in real life to chat with. I feel amazing and clothes fit way better already. I’d like to transition to a very similar eating style when it’s over, but with less meat and e...
