We should ban swimming. People aren't responsible enough to handle it.

No, it’s a fricking tattoo of a spoon!!!!! Holy shite, I’ll never understand how some people come to make such decisions

Some days you’re the shark and some days you’re the leg below the knee.

I lived near there and took out insurance while there(dismemberment?) because of a fear of this. It's astronomical odds this happens to you bit still couldn't relax in the water. He won the negative lottery. RIP

Actually it was a tattoo of a yin yang that got stretched out a little.

There are some vicious tiger sharks off the waters of Hawaii. Great whites are seen down there too occasionally but almost every shark attack I ever heard of was a tiger. The first time I ever saw one when surfing made me quit surfing. 8-10 ft easily just cruising through. First and last time I ever rode a wave as i couldn’t get in fast enough. Barber’s Point 2010.

Was I the only one who immediately started humming the "Jaws" theme?

Once you jump in an ocean, you immediately move down the food chain.

There’s something terrible afoot here. News articles trying to get a leg up on the competition post this kind shite too soon.

I came to see a mangled leg then immediately post “why in the frick would you post something like that”

Pitbulls kill more people than sharks every year.

My buddy and his wife literally swam on the same beach yesterday as the man who died. So it actually could have been them!

....OR.....just fricking sit around the pool
If it’s your own private pool at home, then sure.. but a public pool? It’s like taking a bath with 40 other people , or however many other people are there, with all their nasty-*** bacteria and crap.. and screw chlorine, it just covers that shite up.
Your odds of getting attacked by a shark while swimming in an ocean have to be like 1 in 500,000.. but your odds of bathing in the germs of trashy people at a public pool are 100%.

Why the frick would you swim that far out?
