That's so true and I've never understood why.

I’ve been known to watch/listen to True Crime. For me, it’s interesting and the appeal is trying to see patterns of behavior that would predict the outcome. “Someone must have noticed something!” What were the clues that this person could do this? The scary thing is that sometimes there weren’t any.

Not a woman, but life is honestly so boringly predictable that any deviation from the mundane can be quite interesting. There's also the element of mystery in certain cases and it's fun to talk theories even if it's just analyzing motivations because they are often pretty nuanced against each other

I'm not talking about the TruTV shite, women watch that because they implicitly want to kill their husbands, but like Zodiac, Dahmer, true-psycopathic kids (Paris Bennett being one)... idk, it's interesting

Serial killers are endlessly fascinating to me. Not the actual murdering, but the personalities and their backgrounds. Started early, too. Probably too much inappropriate horror movie viewing as a small child.

Wonder if they'll cover Derick Todd Lee?

I was one of those women until I went to college for forensic chemistry and realized it's pretty messed up to be obsessed with this kind of content. All those women should try actually investigating child rape and murder cases if they're so interested in being helpful. Guarantee a majority would never pursue the career and stop listening to or watching true crime.

I’m going this Friday

Going to be in Atlanta for something else and my friend asked if I wanted to go. I think it will be interesting but I also watch true crime like every night so…I guess I’m one of those psychopaths

Telling the story of people’s murders for entertainment never sat quite right with me. Not that I’ve never watched a 48 Hours, though.

Maybe they'll catch the person that killed that girl a few years ago in Piedmont Park.

Psychology was one of the more interesting units in nursing school, had to intern at a psych ward in a local hospital for a couple of months. It’s pretty interesting but also really depressing knowing how many people struggle with mental illness
