That doesn't answer the question.

Was it a drug car you bought at auction?
If so, fraud is the least of your worries.

These fellers were some good dudes for legal advice, wonder if the next generation took it up?

A $2 sticker duped you. I'd just take the loss.

The Z71 decals is on the truck. Everything passes the eye test (but the rims after I bought it). Yes, I did look at the truck.
You can buy a Z71 decal online for about $3.50. That doesn't mean anything.
I've seen Z71 Trail Boss 4x4 High Country Sport Silverados running around Austin if I'm just going off of the stickers.

SIAP: I’m not reading this whole string. However, you should probably start with the Attorney General‘s fraud team.

Oh that's not big enough of a case for people I know sorry.
I work in fraud and forensics and know people who do that, but usually it's 7 figures+ and the fees per hour are $700 per person

Sick the Womack on them!
I've also heard that Jason Giles and Vanessa Motta specialize fraud cases but they're probably hard to contact these days.

Wait, so you bought a used Chevy pickup, and it had fake Z71 badging?!? What’s that worth? $350?
You will need a $5000 retainer for this City Court case, where you might win a few hundred bucks, or whatever the difference is btw a used Z71 and a regular Silverado, assuming you can prove it.
ETA: plus $500 for a used car salesman/“expert” to explain to the Jerdge the valuation difference.

This website should have a notice at the top saying that it is not a website to find an attorney.

Doing it yourself in small claims court is probably your only option.
