The vin would have told you it was not a Z71 and a lot more,
I don’t think the vin itself would Identify it as a z71. That is a RPO code (Regular Production Option) which is an optional package added to the base vehicle. Inside the glovebox should be a sticker that lists the optional equipment installed. Z71 should be listed on that sticker.

Yes I have. All I want back is the difference in value.

When you realized the truck was not a Z71, did you shake your head in disbelief so hard that you injured your cervical spine?
If so, give me a call.

Rim size for the Z71 is a 17, and the work truck is a 16. That was the dead giveaway until I went back to the manufacturer date of the vehicle which identified as a work truck with the photos attached when it came off of the line.

What is the dollar amount you’re looking to recover?

No one worth hiring would take a case worth that.
Self-represent if you must, but you'd be better served dropping it and moving on. You fricked up.

or just going to the dealership and try to negotiate with them. But that would just be a goodwill move on their front if they give you anything.

I feel like we need a picture of this truck.

The more I think about it in all honesty I think would be my best bet (self representation). It’s just the idea of fraud mostly, but the breach in contract may be my only saving grace.

Run this bad boy through Claude and paper the frick out of things. Plead everything. Laches, civil RICO, cite the Magna Carta. Turn that small claims court docket into your own personal chamber of hell for the dealership.

I think (I could be wrong) … but Z71 is a package option like any other option… you would have a better case if you bought off the lot new… it’s a used truck that you claimed you inspected yourself

The Z71 decals is on the truck. Everything passes the eye test (but the rims after I bought it). Yes, I did look at the truck.
