The American Left are generally heirs to the French Revolution. Equality through The State by means of coercion, control and violence.

The American Right are generally heirs to the American Revolution. Liberty by natural rights (God given) by means of representative government and private consent. The Left conceals their motives by endlessly chirping about equality and other people being less concerned with the fate of their fellow man than they are. There is an innate narcissism to their creed as it assumes they are better people than you are.

The Left fetishizes government because their goal is to eternally agitate for "equality" which can never be achieved because of human nature. That's what the French Revolution was about. That's what Mao and Stalin et al were about. Seizing control via State murder. And in the 20th century alone they murdered more than 100 million in the name of equality.

The Left is grounded in resentment and grievance and believes that the flawed NATURE OF MAN CAN BE PERFECTED THROUGH THE STATE. . If the people need to be murdered for their own good-then so be it. They have now made a decision that "it would be a shame if something happened to Elon". Galloway just let the cat out of the bag by being honest.

I will tell you-if they succeed in arresting and executing (via assassination or otherwise) their political and cultural (just or even more important) it will pop off like 1861.

I have observed that calling someone a leftist has never been defined and means a person that disagrees with me on sometimes only one isssue. it's a very derogatory term that seems to be a judgement of a very stupid person. i believe things are much more complex than that. i have have called a leftist and i have been called a right winger (not by the same people of course). it's because i take each issue by themselves and decide on them. yes, there are some real left wing nutcases but there are just as many nutcase right wingers. i used to live in a country that it was OK to have an opinion and now i live in country of bigoted folks that make judgements based on some silly stuff. i'm tired of that stupid shite.
