this is something I can't budge on, you get no quarter. anyone who denies the Holocaust needs to have their arse kicked and to tour Auschwitz. I absolutely will kick someone's arse if they even mention denial.

hearing an inbred or hotep say the holocaust didn't happen is a very stupid reason to catch a felony assault charge

The school district recently had some nonsense with this "CRT" bullshite because a teacher had a black rights book in her classroom library. That book led to all kinds of madness from white parents, screaming "CRT", harassing staff and teachers. So now their tact is to always present both sides of a story and so you get a fricking administrator insisting that "the other side" of the Holocaust be taught.

People are so fricking dumbed down now thanks to the internet.

You remind me of Scoot from WWL, both useful idiots and both of you don’t even realize it. Stop voting with your heart and vote with your brain.

Jeez. But sadly you're right. In their mind opposing CRT is exactly the same as saying slavery didn't happen and blacks were never persecuted.

That begs the question. Are the German kids today being taught to feel like it's their fault the Holocaust happened?
Are German kids being indoctrinated to believe they are inherently racist against Jewish people because of what their ancestors did 80 years ago?

Text of TX HB3979

Sorry, maybe I’m missing something here, but the very basis of that audio’s conversation seems totally wrong.

I don’t see anything in this text that requires schools to offer literature with opposing viewpoints. I think they’re referring to this section:

quote:

(2) teachers who choose to discuss current events or widely debated and currently controversial issues of public policy or social affairs shall, to the best of their ability, strive to explore such issues from diverse and contending perspectives without giving deference to any one perspective;

In no way is the Holocaust currently controversial or widely debated. No matter how much one side suggests, 99.999% of Americans accept and know that the Holocaust happened. The Holocaust is not the kind of currently controversial issue that the law was written for.

That recording is either a poor example of misunderstood guidance by the administrator, or this was an intentionally incorrect interpretation of the law to sway public opinion.

I'm reading the article and trying to match it up against this thread. What a shitshow.

Yeah, I don't know why they went back to the holocaust with this argument unless the Texas Bill is that vague.

That’s the thing, I don’t think it is. The legislation’s use of “current” sets reasonable parameters for interpretation by any adult of sound mind.

Police abuse, illegal immigration, etc. are examples of currently controversial issues. The Holocaust is not.

Well just be honest. There are double standards and you can’t repeat those words as a white person.

An opposing viewpoint is simple.

"We kilt them", is opposed to "They kilt us."
