Churches can have payroll, employees, etc, so it would make sense that they can access the PPP. They DO pay payroll taxes on their non-ministrial employees (the ministers have some different rules).

The mega churches aren't the ones that will be hardest hit, and yes, those people getting rich off religion make me sick too. The ones hit the hardest are small churches that are barely able to pay a part time preacher and part time staff. By the way, the preacher and staff do pay taxes on their income.

Kind of like how after a hurricane, people take out SBA disaster loans to rebuild their home. What does that have to do with BUSINESS?

I can guarantee you almost anyone serving free lunches to kids is enrolled in a federal meal program, such as the National School Lunch Program. Plenty of private/catholic schools receive federal dollars for their meal programs.
