Saw something similar at dusk once, turned out to be three white cranes. Probably wouldn't have figured it out if they were moving away from me instead of getting closer. Identifying stuff in the sky is tricky mane.

Military Drones. There are several secret drone installations in the region. They are testing autonomous applications regarding formation and recon. Those Sunday morning contrails used to originate from these locations. Just a theory.
