Guy in my bass club is in a wheelchair. NEVER ask him what he's been doing. He is constantly saving the world in some way. Most interesting person I know.

Truthfully, that would be assuming all disabled people are the same. A number of people might not care for it, but some would just take it as a compliment and be fine with it. We are all individuals with different opinions. Also, some people don't see themselves as inspirational to others or don't want to be seen that way, but that doesn't make it so for the person feeling the inspiration.
