I’m having an issue with the context here. There was a working doorbell camera but it was disconnected? I’d think someone would have to approach the camera first before disconnecting. No images from that? Also, a camera detects movement but no video running? A little confusing to me.

How? She didn't have a subscription with the camera provider. So they only have the diagnostics, not any footage.

Also, I don't know how they all work but you could simply hit the breaker and disconnect most home personal camera systems.

Depends on the brand and setup... Likely yes, bc most are going to be running off home power and local network. There are some that have battery backup and work off cellular backup.

Yes, that just came out. One of the many frick ups from the Sheriff. He initially said she didn't show up at Church and now it has come out that she was never supposed to go to Church. She was going to a friends to watch a service out of New York.

LOL
The media has been talking for an hour about the "subject" they're going to show a picture of and how they may differ from a person of interest or suspect
uh, I think the armed guy with the full mask is probably the guy

This was a planned and coordinated, he had to have scouted the house and possibly even had access to it. For him to be able to corrupt the security systems

So she opened the door to a masked man with a gun? Or he had a key from when working in the house previously?
Was there a not a peephole?

So if they were able to get this off the camera, they should have something off the other camera that showed movement a little after this.
